Crafty Hour
There's something intrinsically fab about craft. Done well it's a worthy objet d'art. Done less well it's worthy of a smile, which in my humble opinion is even better.
Young 'uns do clarty art on a regular basis, but for many non-children, creative expression is thinking up a lol-provoking post.
Pah!
I say it's time we adults reacquaint ourselves with
genuine creativity (the kind that makes you wonder if a craft box just barfed). So, crack open that imagination, make an aesthetically pleasing mess, take a photo or scan, and send the resulting jpeg here.
Smallprint: Please note, this is not a competition; the glory is simply having work displayed in the crafty gallery for literally 10's of people to see. So, to confirm, you won't find any winners on my website.
Even Smallerprint: Just like a grown-up doing the project of a child, we'll know if you've had whippersnapper intervention . . .
Well, fine. Maybe we won't. But you will; and that's enough to taint the minimal fame and fortune enjoyed by crafty gallery artists.
Do not forward original artwork via the post. (a) I can't return it, and (b) it would be a shame not to festoon your fridge door with it. Send jpeg files only. Any images deemed inappropriate will be banished to my YEGADS folder to save innocent eyeballs m'kay?
